This year I found a great resource called “Teaching Mathematics with Foldables” by Dinah Zike.
It has all kinds of ideas for Math. I made the following for types of triangles. Click here to down load .
(Once you see the Google Doc, click on file and download.)
I have found that I am a better blog stalker than a blogger. :) I'm going to try harder to keep up with my page. I am in the process of making Promethean board slides for my math lessons. I didn't get my board until the middle of the year. I am now learning how to make interactive lessons for our Saxon math program. Here is a math foldable that I will be using with our second lesson.
Click on the picture and then download to your computer. Enjoy!
I'm a fifth grade teacher. My favorite thing to do is read books. My second favorite thing is to buy books! I LOVE chocolate ice cream too. I am married and have a daughter in her freshman year of college. My newest hobby is looking at teaching blogs.
